Since blog number 1, I have not been out to many new spots primarily because of the rather average weather we have been experiencing of late!
A couple of very light wind outings to Delancey Park and a short sneak to the outskirts of the Guernsey Festival site (see below) this Saturday sum up the last two weeks.
Whenever the weather is not playing ball it does give me a chance to carry on with my photographic self-education and also have a play with some of my light painting kit.
This coming weekend sees the annual Sark to Jersey rowing event take place and I am on a guard boat for the third time in the last five years. The early forecast suggests that my plans to do some boat KAP are unrealistic, but pole cam remains an option for some alternative views of Mr James Briggs (who we are tracking) and his fellow competitors in various categories.
So Aeriali.net is up and running and is ready to take on all challenges put forward.
We are nearly mid-way through 2012 and I have already been out about 40 times with the kites this year. 2011 saw me accumulate 85+ kite aerial photography sessions, inlcuding three short ones in Australia, so 2012 looks set to be as prolific if not quite as far reaching ;-)
I have been fortunate to make contact with and provide photos for a select group of local businesses already this year and hope that the word spreads with each successful assignment.
If you see a large chap flying a kite with a mysterious black object hanging from the line below then there's a 99.9999999% chance it is me. Come and say hello!
