I have been dithering over my choice of shop frontage for too long and have decided to sign up to Smugmug for a year (click the picture above to link to the Aerial-i page).
While a lot of my imagery is very 'local', a global platform is much more inclusive and the pricing is hopefully transparent to all.
I will be adding to the gallery and in the coming days so please come back and check from time to time.
Nearly 2 months since my last blog post on my website. Lots has happened in that time as the title suggests. This is a quick update for those who might stop by here rather than delve in to the monster that is Facebook.
First up, I successfully applied for the first distinction level of the Royal Photographic Society - LRPS. The most pleasing thing about this success was that 7 of the 10 pictures submitted to the judging panel were kite aerial photos.
The Facebook army continues to grow which is good news for raising awareness of what I do.
About 12 days ago I lost my quadcopter to the sea. User error totally. My new one is here already and is off to Herm today for a very quick aerial attack around the southern half of the island.
There's a handful of 8x6in mounted aerial photos available to buy at Glen's Guernsey Picture Framers & Art Gallery - go have a look; his new shop at the Vale Church junction is loaded with cool pictures.
Lots more has happened. Don't be scared to follow me on Facebook if you don't already. You'll get a load of aerial photos to check out as you'd expect, plus a bit of other stuff that I tinker with now and again.
Enjoy the sun.
